Creative Director
It’s been over a decade since I joined S2F, back in the black and white days when this was all fields. I started as a Web Designer and Developer and although I had over 20 years of experience in the creative industry, I didn’t expect the pace and energy this agency ran at, which hasn’t slowed down since!
As the business has grown, it’s given me opportunities to hone my skills and gain new ones, allowing me to grow with the company. From web, to managing the studio for several years to an account manager, working closer with our longstanding clients, building relationships, and helping them take their brand and growth to a new level.
There are many facets to S2F that makes it an enjoyable place to work: our team, diversity of work and our growth being front and centre. From a team of six, we’ve doubled in size and then some – it’s been exciting to be part of such an energetic agency. The skills and personalities that have been injected into the business over the years have helped shape S2F into one of the most successful full-service agencies in the Midlands. It’s been a pleasure to be an integral cog in the running of the S2F engine, and long may it continue!
Visiting new and old places, finding out some amazing things, then finding a nice comfortable spot to eat and drink until it hurts.
I’ve been to some pretty spectacular places, which makes it difficult to decide which one rocks the most. I guess it’s tied between the beauty of the Maldives and getting so close to some of the wildlife it caused some bubbly trunks, and Italy, from north to south; it’s an incredibly interesting place, but Rome is where the heart is.
Not an easy category this one, as I love a lot of different food and drink, sometimes in the same sitting. If I had a last meal though, it would probably be a nice fillet steak accompanied by copious amounts of Californian brandy.
Favourite film has got to be Aliens, a true classic! Although Me, Myself & Irene turned my nose into a vending machine in the cinema, so maybe that’s a close second.
